WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, HARASSING COMMUNICATIONS
Cornwall, ON – A 30-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on Dec. 16, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with four counts of fail to comply with probation order and two counts of harassing communications.
It is alleged in July 2024, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to not contact her ex-girlfriend and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged in July 2024, the woman continuously sent text and voice messages to her ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
Furthermore, it is alleged from Aug. 1, 2024, to Nov. 27, 2024, the woman was once again bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to not contact her ex-girlfriend and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged from Aug. 1, 2024, to Nov. 27, 2024, the woman continuously contacted her ex-girlfriend. Police were once again contacted.
On Dec. 16, 2024, the woman was located by members of the Cornwall Police Service. The warrant was executed, she was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.
SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – Megan Julien, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 16, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on Oct. 3, 2024, the woman attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 16, 2024, the woman was located at the courthouse. She was charged accordingly and remained in custody.
DOMESTIC DISPUTES
Cornwall, ON – The CPS also responded to three separate domestic dispute incidents on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024. No criminal charges were laid.

There were 68 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the last 24 hours (8 a.m. yesterday to 8 a.m. today). CPS reserves the right to not post all calls for service in order to protect the identity of the victims.
