WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Gail Thomas, 62, of St. Andrew’s West, was arrested on Aug. 30, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Aug. 13, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court, and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Aug. 30, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on Oct. 3, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Jamie-Lee Corrigan, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 31, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Aug. 31, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in her residence between specific hours. On Aug. 31, 2024, while on general patrol, it is alleged, police observed the woman to be breaching her curfew. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 24, 2024.

WARRANT, POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – Maggie Payne, 35, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 31, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and additionally charged with possession of a Schedule I substance. It is alleged on July 23, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Aug. 31, 2024, police responded to a suspicious person call and an investigation ensued. The woman was located and the investigation revealed she was in possession of methamphetamine. The warrant was executed, she was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Van Loon, 26, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 31, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on April 18, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Aug. 31, 2024, police located the man while dealing with a separate matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on Oct. 8, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Ian Craig, 48, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 31, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged on Aug. 31, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to refrain from using drugs or other intoxicating substances or being in possession of them and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date, police responded to a neighbour dispute and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 8, 2024.

SHOPLIFTING, BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE

Cornwall, ON – Honour Driscoll, 40, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 31, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000 and breach of recognizance. It is alleged on Aug. 31, 2024, the woman was bound by a recognizance with the relevant condition to keep the peace. It is also alleged on this date, she attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on Nov. 5, 2024.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 51-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Sept. 1, 2024, and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged on Aug. 26, 2024, the man assaulted his spouse. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Sept. 1, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Sept. 24, 2024. The man’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

FAIL TO COMPLY, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – Devon Brown, 25, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 1, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of mischief under $5,000. It is alleged on Aug. 17, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man damaged property at a residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Sept. 1, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 8, 2024.

THEFT

Cornwall, ON – Daryl French, 47, of Morrisburg, was arrested on Sept. 1, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Sept. 1, 2024, the man stole several items from an individual’s vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on Oct. 8, 2024.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Stephanie Lavigne, 39, of Dorval, QC, was arrested on Sept. 1, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on Jan. 12, 2024, the woman was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to notify the CPS within 24 hours of any change of address. She failed to do so and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On Sept. 1, 2024, police responded to an unrelated call and the woman was located. The warrant was executed, she was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 8, 2024.  

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Raymond Ward, 44, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 2, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on May 20, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Sept. 2, 2024, the man was taken into custody by members of the OPP and subsequently turned over to the CPS. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE FOR PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING

Cornwall, ON – Kyle McKenna, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 2, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Operation while impaired
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance - methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine

On Sept. 2, 2024, police responded to a suspicious person call and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man was operating his vehicle under the influence of drugs. Further investigation also revealed the man was allegedly in possession of a Schedule I substance as well as packaging material and a scale. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 23, 2024.
