FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on May 29, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged since February 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not contact or communicate with his ex-girlfriend. On May 10, 2025, the woman contacted the Cornwall Police Service in regard to a breach of release order, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged the woman received several calls, letters and text messages from her ex-boyfriend. On May 29, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 58-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on May 29, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on April 3, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 29, 2025, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on July 10, 2025.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, ROBBERY WITH VIOLENCE

Cornwall, ON – A 50-year-old man from Alexandria was arrested on May 29, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of robbery with violence. It is alleged on March 11, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not attend within 100 metres of a specific Ninth Street East business. It is also alleged on this date, the man aided an individual with a theft at separate Ninth Street East business and assaulted a Loss Prevention Officer at the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation also revealed the man was within 100 metres of the Ninth Street East business he was prohibited from attending. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On May 29, 2025, the man was located by police. The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on May 29, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on May 6, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 29, 2025, police responded to a disturbance complaint and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, the warrant executed, and she was held for a bail hearing.
