FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON – A 66-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 18, 2026, on the strength of outstanding warrants. It is alleged on May 19, 2026, the man was scheduled to attend Cornwall Police Service headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of fail to attend for fingerprints as per undertaking. It is also alleged on June 16, 2026, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of fail to attend court as per undertaking. On June 18, 2026, CPS officers were dispatched to an unwanted person complaint, and an investigation ensued. The man was located and taken into custody. The warrants were executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
FAIL TO COMPLY, POSSESSION & ACCESS CHILD ABUSE EXPLOITATION MATERIAL
Cornwall, ON – A 64-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 18, 2026, and charged with the following:
- Fail to comply with undertaking
- Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Access any child sexual abuse and exploitation material
On April 23, 2026, police were dispatched to a voyeurism call, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged from Feb. 3, 2026, to March 28, 2026, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to notify the CPS of any change of address. It is also alleged the man was in possession and accessed child sexual abuse and exploitation material. Further investigation revealed the man failed to notify police of his change of address. Reasonable and probable grounds were developed for his arrest. On June 18, 2026, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
FAIL TO COMPLY, POSSESSION OF WEAPON FOR DANGEROUS PURPOSE, ASSAULT WITH WEAPON, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, UTTERING THREATS, BREAK AND ENTER, DOMESTIC ASSAULT WITH WEAPON, DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM
Cornwall, ON – A 58-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 18, 2026, on the strength of outstanding warrants and additionally charged with the following:
- Eight counts of fail to comply with probation order
- Break and enter a place – commit indictable offence
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
- Domestic assault with a weapon
- Domestic assault
- Assault causing bodily harm – choke, suffocate or strangle
On April 27, 2026, a CPS officer was dispatched to a threats occurrence and an investigation ensued.
It is alleged in March 2026, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not possess any weapons or threaten or intimidate any person. It is further alleged the man was in possession of an edged weapon and threatened his mother with it, constituting the offence of assault with a weapon. He also harassed his mother by engaging in threatening behaviour that caused the woman to fear for her safety. It is further alleged in April 2026, the man was once again bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not possess any weapons or threaten or intimidate any person. It is alleged he threatened to kill his mother and harassed her by engaging in threatening behaviour that caused her to fear for her safety. As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest on the charges of:
- Six counts of fail to comply with probation order
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
- Assault with a weapon
- Two counts of criminal harassment – threatening conduct
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
On May 19, 2026, CPS officers were dispatched to a disturbance call, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, to not contact or communicate in any way either directly or indirectly with his ex-girlfriend and to not be within 50 metres of any place he knows her to live, work or frequent. It is further alleged on this date, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence and attempted to communicate with the woman. As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest on the charges of six counts of fail to comply with probation order.
On June 22, 2026, CPS officers responded to an intimate partner violence call, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, to not contact or communicate in any way either directly or indirectly with his ex-girlfriend, to not be within 50 metres of any place he knows her to live, work or frequent and to not possess any weapons. It is further alleged on this date, the man broke into his ex-girlfriend’s residence, was in possession of an edged weapon and assaulted his girlfriend with the weapon, assaulted the woman and choked her. Members of the CPS circulated the area and subsequently located the man, who was taken into custody. The warrants were executed, he was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
THEFT, POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE
Cornwall, ON – A 47-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 19, 2026, and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine. On June 19, 2026, police were dispatched to a Vincent Massey Drive business in regard to a theft incident, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man stole property from the business. He was subsequently located by police, and further investigation revealed the man was in possession of methamphetamine. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 20, 2026, and charged with mischief – destroys or damages property. On June 16, 2026, CPS officers were dispatched to an intimate partner violence complaint, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man damaged his ex-spouse’s motor vehicle. As a result of the investigation, reasonable and probable grounds were developed for his arrest. On June 20, 2026, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 14, 2026.
ASSAULT, UTTERING THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 64-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 20, 2026, and charged with assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. It is alleged on June 20, 2026, the man assaulted an individual known to him and made threats to harm the woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was later released to appear in court on July 28, 2026.
FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – A 53-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 21, 2026, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on June 15, 2026, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to a bail supervision program. It is further alleged he failed to do so and, as a result, reasonable and probable grounds were developed for his arrest. On June 21, 2026, the man was located by a CPS officer, who was investigating an unrelated matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
Cornwall, ON – A 51-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 21, 2026, and charged with criminal harassment – beset and watch complainant. On June 21, 2026, CPS officers were dispatched to an intimate partner violence complaint, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man harassed his ex-spouse at her place of employment, causing the woman to fear for her safety. As a result of the investigation, reasonable and probable grounds were developed for his arrest. The man was subsequently located by CPS officers. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on July 21, 2026.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on June 21, 2026, and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged on June 21, 2026, the woman was observed by an off-duty officer assaulting her boyfriend while inside a motor vehicle. Police headquarters were contacted, and an investigation ensued. The vehicle was subsequently located by CPS officers, and a traffic stop was initiated. The woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on July 21, 2026.
ASSAULT WITH WEAPON, MISCHIEF, UTTERING THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on June 21, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant.
On Feb. 10, 2025, police were dispatched to an intimate partner violence complaint, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the woman threw a table at her spouse and threatened to burn him to the ground. As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for her arrest on the charges of:
- Assault with a weapon – domestic
- Mischief – domestic
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm – domestic
On June 21, 2026, the woman was located by a CPS officer as a result of a traffic stop in the City of Cornwall. The warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.
FAIL TO COMPLY, ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 21, 2026, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and assault. It is alleged on June 21, 2026, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, he assaulted an individual. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was subsequently located by a CPS officer, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was later released to appear in court on July 28, 2026.
