FAIL TO COMPLY, ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on June 11, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and two counts of assault. It is alleged on June 8, 2025, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the woman spat on one hospital staff member and punched another. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 11, 2025, the woman was located by a member of the Cornwall Police Service. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 10, 2025.  

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, PROHIBITION ORDER, DISOBEYING COURT ORDER, OBSTRUCT PEACE OFFICER

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 11, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following:

• Seven counts of fail to comply with probation order
• Three counts of possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
• Obstruct peace officer
• Disobeying order of court

It is alleged between Jan. 7, 2025, and April 14, 2025, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant condition to report in person to a probation officer. It is also alleged between Jan. 7, 2025, and April 14, 2025, he failed to report to a probation officer. A warrant was subsequently issued for the man’s arrest.

On June 11, 2025, members of the CPS responded to a warrants call and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on June 11, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, to not possess any weapons and to not buy, possess or consume alcohol or other intoxicating substances. He was also bound by a second probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not possess any weapons. The man was additionally bound by three separate weapons prohibition orders. On June 11, 2025, he was located while attempting to hide from police. It is also alleged the man was in possession of a pellet gun and was under the influence of drugs.

The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old man from Sandy Lake, ON, was arrested on June 11, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on June 11, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not attend a specific establishment. It is also alleged on this date, he attended the establishment. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was held for a bail hearing.
