WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Andy Shaver, 54, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 6, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Jan. 27, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Feb. 6, 2025, the man was located by members of the Cornwall Police Service. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on March 20, 2025.
WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – Daniel Bourdeau, 49, of Alexandria, was arrested on Feb. 6, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with fail to comply with probation order and theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on Dec. 28, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was subsequently issued for the man’s arrest. On Feb. 6, 2025, the man was located by a CPS officer who was dealing with a separate matter. The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 20, 2025.
FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – Kenneth Gass, 55, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 6, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on Feb. 2, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, he attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 6, 2025, the man was located by a member of the CPS. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 20, 2025.
UTTERING THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Raymond Ward, 44, of Ottawa, was arrested on Feb. 6, 2025, and charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. On Feb. 6, 2025, police responded to an unwanted person complaint and an investigation ensued. The man was located and, it is alleged, he threatened to kill a CPS officer. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
UNLAWFULLY IN DWELLING HOUSE
Cornwall, ON – Michael Woodfine, 26, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 7, 2025, and charged with unlawfully in dwelling house. On Feb. 7, 2025, police responded to a break and enter call and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man unlawfully entered the residence of an individual known to him. He was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Jody Burgess, 56, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 7, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on June 21, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Feb. 7, 2025, police responded to an unwanted person complaint and an investigation ensued. The man was located, the warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
