WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Tina Connors, 52, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 5, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Jan. 27, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Feb. 5, 2025, the woman was located by Cornwall Police Service officers who were dealing with a separate matter. The warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT, THEFT

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Feb. 5, 2025, and charged with assault and theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Feb. 5, 2025, the youth assaulted an individual and stole an item from him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The youth was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

OVERCOME RESISTANCE, THEFT

Cornwall, ON – A 60-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 5, 2025, and charged with overcome resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle another person and theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Feb. 5, 2025, the man choked his girlfriend and also stole items from her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was later located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 4, 2025. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

There were 61 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the last 24 hours (8 a.m. yesterday to 8 a.m. today). The CPS reserves the right to not post all calls for service in order to protect the identity of the victims.
