SEXUAL INTERFERENCE, INVITATION TO SEXUAL TOUCHING UNDER 16, SEXUAL ASSAULT UNDER 16, UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Jordan Neville, 19, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 18, 2025, and charged with the following:

  • Sexual interference
  • Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age
  • Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm

It is alleged in December 2024, the man had sexual intercourse with an individual under the age of 16. It is also alleged he threatened to kill her afterward. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 18, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 25, 2025.

FAIL TO COMPLY, BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, SEXUAL INTERFERENCE, INVITATION TO SEXUAL TOUCHING

Cornwall, ON – A 47-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 18, 2025, and charged with the following:

  • Fail to comply with undertaking
  • Breach of recognizance
  • Three counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
  • Three counts of sexual interference
  • Four counts of invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age
  • Makes, prints, publishes or possession for the purpose or publication any child pornography
  • Two counts of transmit, make available, distribute or sell sexually explicit material to a person under 16 years of age

Police were contacted regarding the historical sexual assault and an investigation ensued.

The investigation revealed the man was allegedly bound by an undertaking as well as a recognizance, each with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged the man sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend’s daughter and sexually interfered with her. Furthermore, it is alleged the man took photographs of the youth and made sexually explicit material available to her.

On Feb. 18, 2025, the man was located at the Cornwall Courthouse. He was charged accordingly and remained in custody.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Mohammed Chughtai, 29, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 18, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Feb. 7, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to police headquarters. It is also alleged on this date, he failed to do so. On Feb. 18, 2025, the man was located by a CPS officer who was on general patrol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Nancy Nasr, 49, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 18, 2025, and charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on Jan. 23, 2025, the woman attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. On Feb. 18, 2025, police responded to a shop theft complaint and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on March 25, 2025.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 19, 2025, and charged with criminal harassment – repeatedly follow, repeatedly communicate with, watch and beset, threatening conduct. It is alleged on Feb. 17, 2025, and Feb. 18, 2025, the man harassed his ex-girlfriend, repeatedly messaging and calling the woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 19, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON – James Cholette, 42, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 19, 2025, and charged with fail to attend for fingerprints as per undertaking. It is alleged on Jan. 13, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinted and failed to do so. An investigation ensued. On Feb. 19, 2025, the man was located by a member of the CPS. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 3, 2025.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Ryan Landry, 25, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 19, 2025, and charged with two counts of assault. On Jan. 29, 2025, members of the CPS responded to a police assist complaint and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on Jan. 29, 2025, the man spit on two individuals. On Feb. 19, 2025, the man was located at the courthouse. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Candice O’Rourke, 34, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 19, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged between April 11, 2024, and Oct. 23, 2024, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to report in person to a probation officer and to notify the probation officer in advance of any change of name or address. She failed to do so, and a warrant was subsequently issued for her arrest. On Feb. 19, 2025, the woman attended police headquarters for a separate matter. The warrant was executed, and she was released to appear in court on March 25, 2025.

WARRANTS, FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Jesse Dufresne, 34, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 19, 2025, on the strength of outstanding warrants and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of fail to attend court
  • Two counts of fail to comply with appearance notice
  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Theft under $5,000 – shoplifting

It is alleged on Oct. 11, 2022, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is also alleged on March 3, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is alleged on March 6, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is also alleged on March 9, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is alleged on Sept. 27, 2023, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.

On Feb. 19, 2025, the man was taken into custody by members of the Canada Border Services Agency and subsequently turned over to the CPS. The warrants were executed, he was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 1, 2025.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Fullarton, 49, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 19, 2025, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. It is alleged on Feb. 12, 2025, the man was operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 19, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 3, 2025.

FAIL TO COMPLY, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 20, 2025, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of mischief under $5,000. It is alleged on Feb. 17, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not contact or communicate with his ex-spouse. It is also alleged on this date, the man communicated with his ex-spouse and vandalized the motor vehicle of another individual. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 20, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 18, 2025. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

HARASSING COMMUNICATIONS

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on Feb. 20, 2025, and charged with harassing communications. It is alleged the woman continuously messaged her ex-boyfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 20, 2025, she was located by police. The woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 20, 2025. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE, SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Nicholas Martin, 31, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 20, 2025, and charged with breach of recognizance and theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on Feb. 20, 2025, the man was bound by a recognizance with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on March 25, 2025.

FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON – Koby Cardinal, 20, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 20, 2025, and charged with fail to attend for fingerprints as per undertaking. It is alleged on Dec. 9, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. On Feb. 20, 2025, he was located by police at the courthouse. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 25, 2025.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Austin Perralte, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 20, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and fail to comply with release order. On Feb. 20, 2025, police responded to an unwanted person complaint and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, as well as a release order with the relevant condition to reside at a specific residence. He was located by police, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, DOMESTIC ASSAULT WITH WEAPON, UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 33-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 20, 2025, and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of domestic assault
  • Domestic assault with a weapon
  • Three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm – domestic

On Feb. 20, 2025, police responded to a domestic dispute and an investigation ensued.

The investigation revealed that on Jan. 30, 2025, the man assaulted his girlfriend, brandished an edged weapon and threatened to kill the woman. It is also alleged on Feb. 20, 2025, he assaulted the woman and made threats.

The man was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Cory Garrow, 29, of Akwesasne, was arrested on Feb. 21, 2025, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. On Feb. 21, 2025, the man was taken into custody by members of the Canada Border Services Agency and subsequently turned over to the CPS. It is alleged on this date, the man was operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on March 20, 2025.
