WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Morrow, 40, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 11, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Dec. 9, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend the Cornwall Police Service for fingerprints and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Feb. 11, 2025, police responded to an unwanted person complaint and an investigation ensued. The man was located, the warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on March 25, 2025.

FAIL TO COMPLY, UTTERING THREATS, DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Alexandria man was arrested on Feb. 11, 2025, and charged with the following:

  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm – domestic
  • Two counts of domestic mischief

It is alleged on Jan. 19, 2025, and Jan. 21, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on Jan. 19, 2025, the man damaged his girlfriend’s property and threatened to beat her up. Furthermore, it is alleged on Jan. 21, 2025, the man once again damaged his girlfriend’s property and threatened to beat her up. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 11, 2025, the man attended CPS headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Feb. 11, 2025, and charged with assault. On Dec. 24, 2024, police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Boundary Road and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the youth assaulted an individual. On Feb. 11, 2025, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Cheryl White, 43, of Morrisburg, was arrested on Feb. 11, 2025, and charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on Feb. 11, 2025, the woman attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on April 3, 2025.

FAIL TO COMPLY, OPERATION WHILE IMPAIRED, CARRYING CONCEALED WEAPON, POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, IDENTITY THEFT

Cornwall, ON – David Fisher, 49, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 11, 2025, and charged with the following:

  • Six counts of fail to comply with probation order
  • Four counts of possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol or drugs
  • Three counts of carrying a concealed weapon
  • Three counts of knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Five counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possessing of cannabis for the purpose of selling
  • Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Identity theft – obtain or possess another person’s identity information

On Feb. 11, 2025, a member of the CPS responded to a suspicious person complaint. The man was located by police and an investigation ensued.

It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not possess any weapons. It is also alleged on this date, he was bound by a prohibition order with the relevant condition to not possess any firearm, prohibited weapon, restricted weapon or prohibited device.

The investigation revealed he was allegedly operating his vehicle under the influence of drugs.

Furthermore, it is alleged the man was in possession of edged weapons as well as a BB gun with ammunition. Additionally, he was allegedly in possession of several Schedule I substances for the purpose of trafficking, including methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl. He was also allegedly in possession of controlled drugs, drug trafficking paraphernalia and large sums of cash. Finally, a fake Ontario driver’s licence was also seized.

The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Stacey Wells, 39, of Williamstown, was arrested on Feb. 11, 2025, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. On Feb. 11, 2025, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision and an investigation ensued. The woman was located and the investigation revealed she was allegedly operating her motor vehicle under the infuence of alcohol. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on March 6, 2025.

There were 63 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the last 24 hours (8 a.m. yesterday to 8 a.m. today). The CPS reserves the right to not post all calls for service in order to protect the identity of the victims.
