WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Anson Jacco, 59, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 7, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Feb. 6, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Feb. 7, 2025, the man was taken into custody by members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and subsequently turned over to the Cornwall Police Service. The warrant was executed and the man was turned back over to the OPP. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 20, 2025.

WARRANT, ASSAULT WITH WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Feb. 7, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and additionally charged with assault with a weapon. It is alleged on Jan. 30, 2025, the youth was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Feb. 7, 2025, members of the CPS responded to a police assistance call and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the youth assaulted his father with a weapon. He was located, the warrant was executed, the youth was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.  

WARRANT, ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Feb. 7, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and additionally charged with assault. It is alleged on Jan. 30, 2025, the youth was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Feb. 7, 2025, members of the CPS responded to a police assistance call and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the youth assaulted an individual known to him. He was located, the warrant was executed, the youth was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.  

FAIL TO COMPLY, DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 47-year-old Lancaster man arrested on Feb. 8, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and two counts of domestic assault. It is alleged on Feb. 6, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, he head-butted his ex-girlfriend and assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 8, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 4, 2025. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on Feb. 8, 2025, and charged with domestic mischief under $5,000. It is alleged on Feb. 8, 2025, the woman damaged her ex-boyfriend’s property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Later, the woman attended the CPS to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Feb. 25, 2025. The woman’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Zachery Martin, 29, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 8, 2025, and charged with assault. It is alleged on Jan. 11, 2025, the man punched an individual in the face at a Fourteenth Street West establishment. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 8, 2025, the man was located by CPS officers. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 20, 2025.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Lessard, 31, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 8, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following:

  • Fail to comply with undertaking
  • Fail to attend
  • Two counts of fail to comply with probation order
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

It is alleged on Jan. 26, 2025, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not contact a specific individual. It is also alleged on this date, the man was in contact with the individual he was prohibited from communicating with. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

Furthermore, it is alleged on Feb. 6, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest.   

Finally, it is alleged on Feb. 8, 2025, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date, the man was located by members of the CPS at a Ninth Street West business and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man was allegedly in possession of suspected fentanyl.

The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on March 20, 2025.

UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Kaitlen Shallow-Duperron, 28, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 9, 2025, and charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. It is alleged on Jan. 20, 2025, the woman threatened to beat up another individual. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 9, 2025, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 20, 2025.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, THEFT

Cornwall, ON – Jessie Snider, 39, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 9, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with fail to comply with probation order and theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Nov. 15, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man stole items from an individual in the area of Second Street East. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was subsequently issued for the man’s arrest. On Feb. 9, 2025, the man was located by a CPS officer who was on general patrol. The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 3, 2025.  

MISCHIEF, ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Akwesasne man was arrested on Feb. 9, 2025, and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of mischief under $5,000
  • Assault
  • Assault with a weapon

On Feb. 9, 2025, members of the CPS responded to a disturbance complaint and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man damaged property at his grandmother’s residence. It is also alleged he assaulted his grandmother and struck her with a broom. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was held for a bail hearing. The man’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.  

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, BREAK AND ENTER, MISCHIEF, ASSAULT WITH WEAPON, POSSESSION OF WEAPON FOR DANGEROUS PURPOSE, INJURING ANIMAL, ROBBERY

Cornwall, ON – Ethan Bonnell, 22, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 10, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of fail to comply with sentence order
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
  • Break and enter a place – commit indictable offence
  • Mischief over $5,000
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Killing or injuring animals
  • Robbery with violence

It is alleged on June 27, 2025, the man was bound by a sentence order with the relevant condition to not possess any weapons and to live at an approved address. It is also alleged on this date, he was bound by a prohibition order with the relevant condition to not possess any weapons. Furthermore, it is alleged on this date, the man broke into an individual’s residence, damaged the property, assaulted an individual known to him with a bat and injured his dog. Finally, it is alleged, the man stole items from the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was subsequently issued for the man’s arrest. On Feb. 10, 2025, police responded to a noise complaint and an investigation ensued. The man was located by a member of the CPS. The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO STOP AFTER ACCIDENT, ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Feb. 10, 2025, and charged with fail to stop after accident and assault. On Dec. 24, 2025, police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Boundary Road and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the youth collided an ATV with a motor vehicle. Furthermore, it is alleged the youth assaulted the occupant of the vehicle and fled the scene. On Feb. 10, 2025, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Bourdeau, 49, of Alexandria, was arrested on Feb. 10, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Feb. 6, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was executed for his arrest. On Feb. 10, 2025, the man was located by a CPS officer who was on general patrol. The warrant was executed and the man was released to appear in court on March 20, 2025.

There were 268 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the last four days (8 a.m. last Friday to 8 a.m. today). The CPS reserves the right to not post all calls for service in order to protect the identity of the victims.
