WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Harley Dumais, 22, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 18, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on April 19, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Dec. 18, 2024, the man attended the Cornwall Police Service to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE, ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Lombardy, ON, youth was arrested on Dec. 18, 2024, and charged with breach of recognizance as well as two counts of assault. It is alleged on Dec. 18, 2024, the youth was bound by a recognizance with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the youth assaulted his father and sister. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Andrea Bedard, 45, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 18, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Nov. 28, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Dec. 18, 2024, police responded to an unwanted person complaint and an investigation ensued. The woman was located and the warrant was executed. She was held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Laura Buckley, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Dec. 12, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Dec. 19, 2024, the woman was located by a member of the CPS who was on general patrol. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on Jan. 28, 2025.
UTTERING THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Scott Boucher, 47, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2024, and charged with uttering threats to damage property. It is alleged on Dec. 19, 2024, the man threatened to blow up his place of residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was held for a bail hearing.
