ASSAULT, DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 49-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 8, 2024, and charged with two counts of assault and one count of domestic assault. It is alleged on April 8, 2024, the man assaulted his girlfriend and two other individuals known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Kahiio Cree, 28, of Hogansburg, NY, was arrested on April 8, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on March 21, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 8, 2024, the man attended the Port of Entry and was taken into custody by members of the Canada Border Services Agency. He was turned over to the CPS and the warrant was executed. The man was released to appear in court on May 6, 2024.
