FAIL TO COMPLY, SEXUAL ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Kullan Taggart, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 17, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and sexual assault. It is alleged on March 30, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man sexually assaulted a woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 17, 2024, the man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on May 21, 2024.  

ASSAULT, UTTERING THREATS, DANGEROUS OPERATION

Cornwall, ON – Jamie-Lee Corrigan, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 18, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Assault
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
  • Uttering threats to damage property
  • Dangerous operation

It is alleged on April 18, 2024, the woman assaulted an individual known to her. It is also alleged she threatened to harm the individual and threatened to damage her property. Furthermore, it is alleged, the woman operated her motor vehicle in a dangerous manner. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Later on April 18, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 21, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old Kemptville man was arrested on April 17, 2024, and charged with three counts of fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on April 17, 2024, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to not communicate with his ex-girlfriend and to not be within 100 metres of any place where she is known to live, work or frequent. It is also alleged on this date, he was bound by a second release order with the relevant condition to not communicate with the woman. Furthermore, it is alleged on April 17, 2024, the man was in contact with his ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
