FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 48-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 11, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on June 23, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in his residence. On this date, an off-duty Cornwall Police Service officer observed the man to be allegedly violating his house arrest conditions. As a result, the officer formed reasonable and probable grounds for his arrest. On Sept. 11, 2025, the man was located by a Special Constable at the courthouse. He was subsequently taken into custody by a CPS officer and charged accordingly. The man was held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO STOP AFTER ACCDIENT, OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED

Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 11, 2025, and charged with fail to stop after accident and operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code. It is alleged on Aug. 28, 2025, the man was involved in a motor vehicle collision and subsequently fled the area. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation also revealed the man was prohibited from driving a motor vehicle. On Sept. 11, 2025, members of the CPS were dispatched to a threat’s complaint, and an investigation ensued. The man was subsequently located by CPS officers. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly – including additional Highway Traffic Act charges. The man was later released to appear in court on Oct. 16, 2025.
