FAIL TO COMPLY, BREAK AND ENTER, THEFT
Cornwall, ON – A 37-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 1, 2025, and charged with the following:
- Fail to comply with release order
- Break and enter a place – commit indictable offence
- Theft under $5,000
On Sept. 14, 2025, members of the Cornwall Police Service were dispatched to a break and enter, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on Sept. 14, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in his residence with specific exceptions. It is also alleged he unlawfully entered a shed, removed several items and committed the offence while breaching the conditions of his release order. Police developed reasonable and probable grounds for the man’s arrest. On Oct. 1, 2025, he attended the CPS to address the matter. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
FAIL TO COMPLY, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 1, 2025, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of criminal harassment – repeatedly follow, repeatedly communicate with, watch and beset, threatening conduct. On Oct. 1, 2025, a CPS officer was dispatched to a harassment complaint, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on Sept. 30, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not possess or consume alcohol. It is also alleged the man attended his neighbour’s residence and banged on the door. The man was later located by a CPS officer, and it is further alleged he was in possession of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
