THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Cody Beauchamp, 30, of St. Andrews West was arrested on May 23rd, 2023 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on May 17th, 2023, the man attended a Pitt Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 23rd, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 29th, 2023.

BREAK AND ENTER, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Brian Colborne, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on May 23rd, 2023 and charged with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on May 23rd, the man entered a First Street business without permission and removed a generator. Police were contacted and located the man possession of the stolen item. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 4th, 2023.
