THREATS, CAUSING A DISTURBANCE, OBSTRUCT POLICE

Cornwall, ON – Sean Desjardins, 32, of Cornwall was arrested on March 8th, 2023 and charged with uttering threats, causing a disturbance and obstructing police. It is alleged on March 8th, 2023, during an altercation with a bus driver, the man caused a disturbance by yelling and screaming, and further made threats to kill the driver. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man resisted being taken into police custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 11th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Brent Fisher, 49, of Cornwall was arrested on March 8th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on February 23rd, 2023 for a previous fail to attend court offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 8th, 2023, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 9th, 2023 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an altercation with another youth known to her, she assaulted the youth and police were contacted to investigate. On March 9th, 2023, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
