SEXUAL ASSAULT, ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 8th, 2022 and charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged on November 19th, 2022, the man sexually assaulted his girlfriend on two occasions and choked her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On December 8th, 2022, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 8th, 2022 and charged with assault with a weapon and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on December 8th, during an altercation with his ex-girlfriend, the man assaulted her with an object and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 8th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault and assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged on December 8th, during an altercation with his girlfriend, the man assaulted and choked her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
