DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, THREATS, THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on July 27th, 2022, and charged with assault, mischief, threats, and theft under $5000. It is alleged that the woman threatened her ex-boyfriend, punched him, damaged his phone and stole it. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 27th, 2022, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on August 30th, 2022. Her name was not released as it could identify the victim in the matter.

POSESSION OF PROPERTY OVER $5000, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – Michael Denneny, 42, of Cornwall was arrested on July 27th, 2022, and charged with possession of stolen property over $5000, theft under $5000 and six counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on June 22nd, 2022, the man was bound by three probation orders with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on this date, the man stole a vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man then attended a Ninth Street business in the stolen vehicle, selected merchandise, and left the store without making an attempt to pay for it. On July 27th, 2022, the man was located and he was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on September 20th, 2022.

WARRANT, THEFT UNDER, POSESSION, OBSTRUCT POLICE

Cornwall, ON -  Adam Weight, 45, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 27th, 2022, and charged with theft under $5000, obstruct police, possession of a scheduled substance, and he was also arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on March 2nd, 2022, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued. It is alleged that on July 27th, 2022, the man stole property and police were contacted. The man was located and provided a false name. He was taken into custody. While in custody, police located a quantity of fentanyl in his possession. He was charged accordingly, the warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.

BREAK AND ENTER, DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on July 28th, 2022, and charged with break and enter, assault, and assault with a weapon. It is alleged that on July 28th, 2022, the man broke into his ex-girlfriend’s residence. While in the residence, he struck another man with a hammer and pushed her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

UNLAWFUYLLY IN A DWELLING, ASSAULT, BREACH OF RELEASE ORDER

Cornwall, ON – Amanda Flaro-Fox, 35, of no fixed address, was arrested on July 27th, 2022, and charged with unlawfully in a dwelling, two counts of assault, and breaching a release order. It is alleged that on July 27th, 2022, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to notify CPS within 24 hours of any change of address. On this date, the woman entered a residence without permission and punched a woman who was known to her. She was removed from the dwelling and subsequently attended another residence and assaulted another woman who was known to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Investigation revealed the woman did not notify CPS that she had changed addresses. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
