FORCIBLE ENTRY, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 52-year-old man of Cornwall, was arrested on June 23rd, 2022, and charged with forcible entry and mischief under $5000. It is alleged that on June 22nd, 2022, the man damaged a window of his ex-girlfriend’s residence and then forced his way inside. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 23rd, 2022, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on July 28th, 2022. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 37-year-old man of Ottawa was arrested on June 23rd, 2022, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on April 26th, 2022, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 23rd, 2022, the man was located in Ottawa. He was turned over to members of Cornwall Police Service, the warrant was executed, and he was held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it could identify the victim in his outstanding matters before the court.

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – Coty Casselman, 26, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 23rd, 2022, and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation. The man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior. It is alleged that on June 16th, 2022, the man took a backpack from outside a residence that did not belong to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 23rd, 2022, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear on July 28th, 2022.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON - Jeremy Bryer, 45, of Cloyne, Ontario, was arrested on June 23rd, 2022, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on September 17th, 2020, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 23rd, 2022, the man was in custody on unrelated matters and the warrant was executed. He was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jaskaran Singh, 25, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 24th, 2022, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on June 23rd, 2022, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 24th, 2022, the man attended Police Headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on August 9th, 2022.

BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – Stephane Deguire, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 24th, 2022, and charged with three counts of breach of probation. The man is bound by two probation orders with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behavior, and to not attend an address in the City of Cornwall. It is alleged that on June 24th, 2022, the man was present at the address he was prohibited from attending. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Aimee Parry, 36, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 24th, 2022, and charged with two counts of theft under $5000. It is alleged that on March 13th, 2022, the woman attended a Second Street business, selected multiple bottles of perfume and left without making an attempt to pay for the merchandise. Furthermore, it is alleged that on March 17th, 2022, the woman re-attended the same Second Street business, selected multiple bottles of perfume and left the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 24th, 2022, the woman was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

THEFT UNDER $5000, UNLAWFUL USE OF CREDIT CARD, BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – Katlen Moore, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 26th, 2022, and charged with theft under $5000, unlawful use of credit card, and two counts of breach of probation. The woman is bound by two probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior. On June 24th, 2022, it is alleged that the woman took a wallet out of a vehicle that did not belong to her and unlawfully made transactions on the victim’s credit card. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. She was located on June 26th, 2022, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on August 9th, 2022.

BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old man, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 26th, 2022, and charged with two counts of breach of probation. The man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behavior, and to not be alone with any person under the age of 16. It is alleged that on May 19th, 2022, the man was alone in a vehicle with a person under the age of 16. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 26th, 2022, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on August 9th, 2022. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

WARRANT, FLIGHT FROM POLICE, DANGEROUS OPERATION

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on June 26th, 2022, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with flight from police, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged that on May 30th, 2022, the man drove by his ex-girlfriend’s residence and revved the engine. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest. Furthermore, it is alleged that on June 9th, 2022, the man was located by police operating a motor vehicle. The man was operating his vehicle in a dangerous manor. When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the male drove off, exited his vehicle, and fled on foot from police. On June 26th, 2022, the man was located, taken into custody, and released to appear in court on July 19th, 2022. His name was not released as it could identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old man of Cornwall, was arrested on June 26th, 2022, and charged with two counts of breach of probation. The man is bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behavior, and to not be within 50 meters of an individual. On June 26th, 2022, the man was at the residence of the individual he is prohibited from being within 50 meters of. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it could identify the victim in previous matters.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Paul Poirier, 50, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 27th, 2022, and charged with assault. It is alleged that on June 27th, 2022, the man assaulted a woman who was known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on July 28th, 2022.
