ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Yves Seguin, 54, of Cornwall was arrested on June 17th, 2022 and charged with assault. It is alleged on June 16th, 2022, the man assaulted someone known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On June 17th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 26th, 2022.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Wilson, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on June 17th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on May 31st, 2022, the man breached his probation order and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On June 17th, 2022, he was taken into custody during a traffic stop. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on July 26th, 2022.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Rebecca Kargus, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on June 17th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on January 13th, 2022 for a previous fail to attend court offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 17th, 2022, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on July 26th, 2022.

THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Rickie Smy, 65, of Cornwall was arrested on June 17th, 2022 and charged with uttering threats. It is alleged on June 14th, 2022, the man made threats to harm an individual who was known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On June 17th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 26th, 2022.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Austin Gosman-Allikas, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on June 18th, 2022 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on June 18th, the man damaged a cell phone belonging to someone known to him and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 26th, 2022.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Dylan Labelle, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on June 18th, 2022 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on June 18th, 2022, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 12th, 2022.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

Cornwall, ON – Jennifer Leduc, 39, of Cornwall was arrested on June 18th, 2022 and charged with assault with a weapon and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged during an altercation with someone known to her, the woman operated her vehicle in a dangerous manner, nearly striking the individual involved in the altercation. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 26th, 2022.

REFUSAL, OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED

Cornwall, ON – Donald Coleman, 40, of Bainsville, ON was arrested on June 18th, 2022 and charged with refusal to comply with demand and operation while prohibited. It is alleged on June 18th, 2022, the man was operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from doing so, and while under the influence of alcohol. Police conducted a traffic stop and during the investigation, the man refused to provide a sample of his breath. He was subsequently taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 26th, 2022.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Akwesasne man was arrested on June 19th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault and breach of probation for contacting his girlfriend and being within a certain distance of her. It is alleged on June 8th, 2022, the man had attended his girlfriend’s residence, despite his conditions and an altercation ensued. During the altercation, the man allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and police were contacted. On June 19th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 19th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 19th, 2022 and charged with domestic mischief. It is alleged during an altercation with his common-law-wife, the man damaged various pieces of property in the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 19th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Lenka Precechtel, 43, of Cornwall was arrested on June 19th, 2022 and charged with breach of release order for failing to remain in her residence, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between June 16-June 19, 2022, the woman left her residence, despite her conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On June 19th, 2022, she was located by police outside of her residence and was subsequently taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
