IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Coleman, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on December 10th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on December 10th, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Brookdale Avenue and Thirteenth Street. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 15th, 2022.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Robert Ellison, 74, of Cornwall was arrested on December 11th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on December 11th, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol, when he struck a parked motor vehicle in the area of Adolphus Street and Water Street. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 15th, 2022.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Athens man was arrested on December 10th, 2021 and charged with criminal harassment and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. He was also charged with breach of release order for contacting his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged in November, the man repeatedly contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite the conditions of his release order, and an investigation ensued. On December 10th, 2021, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended Brockville as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. He was charged accordingly and remained in custody to await a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on December 11th, 2021 and charged with assault and uttering threats. It is alleged between September and November, the woman made threats to kill her mother and further assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On December 11th, 2021, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 24th, 2022. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – Andre Lafrance, 44, of Cornwall was arrested on December 12th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on December 12th, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Walton Street and Louisa Street. An investigation ensued and during a traffic stop, the man was subsequently taken into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 15th, 2022.

OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED

Cornwall, ON – Marc Lefebvre, 51, of Cornwall was arrested on December 12th, 2021 and charged with operation while prohibited. It is alleged on December 12th, the man was operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from doing so and was subsequently stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 24th, 2022.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Renfrew man was arrested on December 12th, 2021 and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged during an altercation with his girlfriend, the man assaulted her, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 15th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – Lorraine Cadieux, 58, of Kirkfield, ON was arrested on December 12th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on December 12th, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Brookdale Avenue and Water Street. She was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Adam Saucier, 39, of Cornwall was arrested on December 12th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on October 14th, 2021 for a break and enter offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On December 12th, 2021, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on February 24th, 2022.
