SHOPLIFTING X 5, BREACH X 2

Cornwall, ON – Kenneth Gass, 52, of Cornwall was arrested on November 15th, 2021 and charged with five counts of theft under $5000 and two counts of breach of recognizance for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between October and November, the man attended three local business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items on any occasion as he left the stores. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On November 15th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 13th, 2022.
