BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Gatineau youth was arrested on March 14th, 2022 and charged with two counts of breach of release order. It is alleged on February 28th, 2022 and March 1st, 2022, the youth failed to sign in to police, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. On March 14th, 2022, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, ON – Vincent Paul, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on March 14th, 2022 and charged with break and enter. It is alleged on March 14th, 2022, the man entered the residence of someone known to him without permission, where he assaulted the occupants. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 26th, 2022.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 47-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 15th, 2022 and charged with two counts of breach of release order for contacting his ex-girlfriend and being within a certain distance of her. It is alleged on March 14th, 2022, the man attended an area where his ex-girlfriend was and attempted to communicate with her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 15th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
