THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 9th, 2022 and charged with uttering threats. It is alleged on March 9th, 2022, the man made threats to damage the property of his ex-girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 24th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

THEFT UNDER $5000 X 3, ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Nancy Waldrif, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on March 9th, 2022 and charged with three counts of theft under $5000 and one count of assault. It is alleged on January 6th, 2022, the woman took a quantity of Canadian currency and prescription medication from someone known to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 9th, 2022, it is further alleged the woman attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. She was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer, who she subsequently assaulted. Police were contacted and took the woman into custody. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 17th, 2022.

POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, UNAUTHORIZED POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Keith Judd, 19, of Cornwall was arrested on March 19th, 2022 and charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and mischief under $5000. It is alleged on March 9th, 2022, the man had damaged a trailer that did not belong to him by using a pellet gun. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 17th, 2022.
