TAKE MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT CONSENT, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 8th, 2022 and charged with take motor vehicle without consent and uttering threats. It is alleged between March 7-8, the man took his mother’s motor vehicle without permission, and made threats to kill the woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 8th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 17th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT, THREATS, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Trevor Williams, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on March 8th, 2022 and charged with the following:

  • Assault
  • Uttering threats
  • Criminal harassment
  • Breach of probation (for failing to keep the peace)
  • Breach of release order (for leaving his residence)

It is alleged on March 2nd, 2022, the man left his residence, despite his conditions, and had been watching two people known to him. The man allegedly assaulted one of the individuals, as well as made threats to harm them. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 8th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Coty Casselman, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on March 9th, 2022 and charged with operation while prohibited, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on February 24th, 2022, the man was operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from doing so. On March 9th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 12th, 2022.
