SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Braydon Cleroux, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on November 7th, 2022 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on October 16th, 2022, the man attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On November 7th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 13th, 2022.

TAKE MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT CONSENT, THEFT UNDER $5000, OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 7th, 2022 and charged with theft under $5000, take motor vehicle without consent, and operation while prohibited. It is alleged on November 7th, 2022, the man took a motor vehicle belonging to his girlfriend without her permission and further took a quantity of medication belonging to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

SHOPLIFTING, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Matthieu Brunet, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on November 7th, 2022 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of undertaking for attending a certain business. It is alleged on October 2nd and 15th, 2022, the man attended a Second Street business, despite his conditions, and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left the store on either occasion. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On November 7th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
