DANGEROUS OPERATION

Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old-woman of Cornwall, was arrested on May 31st, 2022, and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged that on May 26th, 2022, she was operating her vehicle in a dangerous manor in the area of Second Street East and rear-ended her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 31st, 2022, the woman attended Police Headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on June 21st, 2022. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

ASSAULT PEACE OFFICER

Cornwall, ON – Michael Tessier, 68, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 31st, 2022, and charged with assault peace officer. It is alleged that on May 31st, 2022, the man assaulted a Cornwall Police Service officer. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on July 12th, 2022.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Tristin MacAllister, 24, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 1st, 2022, and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged that on June 1st, 2022, the man damaged the window of his neighbour’s residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on July 12th, 2022.
