SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Alain Boudrias, 45, of Cornwall was arrested on May 26th, 2022 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on May 26th, 2022, the man attended a Brookdale Avenue business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 28th, 2022.

THREATS X 2, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 26th, 2022 and charged with the following:

• Uttering threats x 2
• Mischief under $5000
• Breach of undertaking x 3 (for attending a certain place and failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged on May 25th, 2022, the woman attended her sister’s residence and made threats to kill the woman and her common-law spouse. The woman further damaged a screen and left the area. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 26th, 2022, police located the woman at a location she has conditions to not attend. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victims in the matter.
