POSSESSION OF A SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING

Cornwall, ON – Fowler Thompson, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on March 31st, 2022 and charged with Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking. It is alleged on December 23rd, 2021, the man was in possession of a quantity of fentanyl and police were contacted to investigate. On March 31st, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 14th, 2022.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Simon Arow, 30, of Snye, QC was arrested on March 31st, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man had breached his release order by failing to reside at an approved address and failing to notify his bail supervision program of the address. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 31st, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant while stopped at the Port of Entry. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on June 14th, 2022.

ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 31st, 2022 and charged with assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged on March 31st, 2022, the youth assaulted another youth known to him, resulting in an injury that required medical attention. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
